BIO

Abduh commenced his legal career in 2015 as a pupil at Messrs Skrine, where he was later retained as an Associate. During his tenure, he was actively involved in commercial and civil litigation, handling matters such as shareholder disputes, multimillion-dollar fraud cases, shipping and freight logistics disputes and securities litigation. He also gained experience in corporate recovery, winding-up proceedings, liquidation of companies, and enforcement of banking securities, working alongside industry leaders in Banking and Islamic Finance litigation.

In mid-2017, Abduh was appointed to the Malaysian Judicial and Legal Service, where he served as Special Officer III to the 8th Chief Justice of Malaysia. This role provided him with invaluable insight into the judiciary, particularly in legal research and the preparation of landmark Federal Court rulings. He also had the rare privilege of sitting as Registrar for Federal Court sittings in Sabah and Sarawak. Following the Chief Justice’s retirement, he was then posted as Senior Assistant Registrar at the Appellate and Special Powers Court in Kuala Lumpur. During his tenure in the Judicial Service, Abduh also regularly presided as a Magistrate in Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur.

Upon establishing HAP, Abduh has also expanded his practice to include corporate and commercial advisory. Notably, he has developed a strong expertise in Wakaf law, having advised, structured, and facilitated multiple Wakaf initiatives across various states in Malaysia. His work in this field spans regulatory compliance, structuring Wakaf-based entities, and advising on governance frameworks, positioning him as a key legal authority in the sector.

With a rare combination of experience on both sides of the courtroom, Abduh brings a strategic, client-focused, and cost-effective approach to resolving legal matters. His judicial insight, combined with his corporate acumen, enables him to deliver practical, results-driven solutions tailored to complex legal challenges.
